Community Guidelines

Applies to lexblox.com and all LexBlox portals and apps · Last updated 16 September 2026

The Speak-Up forum is an open floor for law students across India. Say what you think, ask what you need, disagree when you disagree. These guidelines keep it safe and useful for everyone. They form part of our Terms of Service.

1. Who can take part

  • Registered LexBlox members who have completed their profile can read, post, reply, report and send suggestions.
  • One person, one account. Do not post for someone else or share your account.

2. Speak up, respectfully

  • Criticise ideas, institutions, syllabi, exams and us, freely and honestly. Do not attack people.
  • No abuse, slurs or obscene language in any language, including disguised spellings. Our filter blocks common abusive words in English, Hindi and Marathi before a post is sent.
  • No harassment, bullying, threats, or targeting anyone for their caste, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, region or language.
  • No sexual content, and nothing that promotes violence or self-harm.

3. Keep it safe and fair

  • Do not share anyone's phone number, address, photos or other personal details, including your own in public posts.
  • No links, advertising, paid-notes selling, referral codes or spam. Links are blocked in posts.
  • No leaked question papers, pirated books or copyrighted material. Summarise in your own words.
  • Do not name a teacher, examiner or fellow student to accuse them of wrongdoing. Raise it with your institution, or write to us through the Suggestion box or Grievance Redressal.
  • Discussion of law, cases and current affairs is welcome. Nothing on the forum is legal advice.

4. Posting without your name

You may post as "A LexBlox student". Other members will not see your name, but LexBlox keeps a record of who posted and may disclose it where the law requires. Anonymous posts follow the same rules.

5. Reports and moderation

  • Use Report on any post that breaks these guidelines. Reports are seen only by LexBlox moderators.
  • Moderators may hide a post (it stays visible to its author, with the reason), restore it, close replies on a discussion, or pause posting for a member. The member is told through their notifications.
  • Nothing is deleted from our records by moderation. You may withdraw your own post at any time; it is then no longer shown to others.
  • To appeal a moderation decision, write to support@lexblox.com within 15 days.

6. Suggestion box

Suggestions go only to the LexBlox team. We read every one, may reply, and may put ideas into practice without payment or credit.

7. If you are struggling

If you or a friend is going through a hard time, please talk to someone today. Tele-MANAS, the Government of India's free mental-health helpline, is available on 14416. In an emergency, call 112.
